Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. This page explains when you can cancel your visa application and what happens in each case.
1. Before Submission to Government
If you've started your application but we haven't yet submitted it to the government portal, you can cancel for a full refund. This applies when:
- You've completed the form but haven't paid yet
- You've paid but the application is still under our internal review (usually within 2-4 hours of payment)
Action: Contact us immediately on WhatsApp at +91 84485 55475 or email support@getonevisa.com. We'll stop processing and refund your government fee within 7 business days.
2. After Submission to Government
Once your application has been submitted to the government portal, cancellation is typically not possible from our side. This is because:
- The government fee is paid to the issuing authority and cannot be recovered
- The application is already in the government's processing queue
- Only the issuing authority can cancel a submitted application, not OneVisa
If you need to cancel urgently, contact us and we'll do our best to coordinate with the government portal. Success depends on the country and timing.
3. Visa Rejection (Automatic Cancellation)
If the government rejects your visa application, the process ends automatically. There's no cancellation needed. Our refund policy determines whether you're eligible for a refund:
- If rejected due to our error: full refund of government fee
- If rejected due to applicant eligibility: government fee is non-refundable (this is standard across all visa services)

4. Travel Plan Changes
If your travel dates change after the visa is approved:
- Most eVisas remain valid from the issue date for their stated validity period (e.g., Vietnam eVisa is valid for 90 days from issue)
- You can still use the visa as long as your actual travel falls within the validity window
- If you need to delay travel beyond the validity, you'll need to apply for a new visa (not a cancellation)
5. OneVisa Service Fee
Our ₹500 service fee is charged only after your visa is approved. If you cancel before approval, you pay nothing to OneVisa. If your visa is approved and you choose not to travel, the service fee still applies as we completed our work.
6. Duplicate Applications
If you accidentally submitted two applications for the same trip, contact us within 24 hours and we'll cancel the duplicate (provided it hasn't been submitted to government). Duplicate payments will be refunded within 7 business days.
7. Cancellation by OneVisa
We reserve the right to cancel applications and issue refunds if:
- Documents appear fraudulent or manipulated
- The applicant provides false information
- The application cannot be processed due to circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, you'll receive a full refund of both the government fee and any service charges.
8. How to Cancel

- Include your name, application ID, and reason for cancellation
- Our team will respond within 2 hours during business hours (9 AM-9 PM IST)
